Six street lights and a big ole hill
Will lead the way to where you lived
Two flat tires and a rusty chain
Feels too much like yesterday
Everyday to your house i rode
Asking your mom if you could play
As soon as sixteen came i drove
And no longer was it so far away
So frequently did i go

Twenty-three now we're engaged
Then married with two kids our own
That beat up bike seems so long ago
When we left our troubles on that road
Now this is the story that I have told...

She drove off... without a sign
A trace of where she had been
